Awful app experience, particularly onboarding. 1. Could not get it when on a network with a space in the name 2. Could not get it to work without phone in airplane mode 3. Firmware demands to be updated four times every time the app loads and we have to skip it. 4. Got it working so that another phone could discover the device they when they tried to play with it it removed the configured device and I had to start onboarding all over again. 5. To apply one of the really cool effects takes 1 min

The lights are great but the app bugs out and lags way too much. I've disconnected and reconnected everything, uninstalled, reinstalled, checked my network, etc and it's all right. The app just stops working with your lights after a while and you need to set it up all over again. it's annoying and frustrating I might just go back to my sunset lamp and not buy from twinkly if if I need to deal with this a 100th time. Please fix the app.

Just like everyone else that is having issues with this update, I haven't put up my Xmas tree since last year, I am on a pixel 8 pro, with the latest Android OS and the twinkly app on version 3.12.7. Timer not working, when setting up the colour and pattern I want to use, there is no apply button, when I get out of the app, it automatically changes to something else. I have uninstall the app, when I reinstalled the app, seems to work the way it is suppose until I exit the app again.

Not great this year! I love the tree (600 led Gen 1), it's worked every year except this one. I turned it on the day after Thanksgiving, and everything was great. Then one day it lost internet connection and now no longer finds my wifi. It sees all my neighbors though! I've done everything, factory reset the tree, reset my modem and router, reset/deleted the app and reinstalled... all for nothing, it will not find my wifi. It's not worth the headache of buying, to have to turn it on/off manually

this app worked perfectly last year and now it won't send effects to the light. This app also fails to allow control over any effects via Google Home voice commands. It also doesn't allow more than one user to be connected to the device at once as each new user removes the inital user from the device. While the hardware seems awesome, the software is trash

The app installed fine as well.as creation of an account. The issue began when I tried to setup the lights. It seems that on the Pixel 8 Pro you cannot complete adding the lights when connecting to WiFi. The phone does not find them even though they are connected on WiFi which I confirm when I check my router. In the end I used a Samsung phone to setup the lights and then my Pixel 8 Pro was able to find them and use them.
